BODYARMOR is looking for an Innovation Intern to join our team.
As a BODYARMOR Innovation Intern you will be a part of the Innovation team and will be assigned a master project that will support the development of the BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition rolling 5-year innovation pipeline across both BODYARMOR & POWERADE brands. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the category landscape, product trends, and macro consumer trends and their potential application to the functional hydration/nutrition space. Additionally, you will work with our development team to work on product design or development, quality and sensory of new innovations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research new and upcoming trends in the sports nutrition space
- Create product and process designs for new innovations, or participate in continuous improvement projects for existing portfolio
- Work with the cross functional QA and Regulatory teams to understand our QA standards and metrics
- Understanding nutritional components of products that consumers are seeking
- Identifying white space opportunities within the functional beverage space to expand the BASN portfolio of brands
- Assisting the Innovation Team with various projects to complement launches currently in the pipeline
- Support additional ad hoc projects as requested
- Present project results at the completion of the internship
REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently enrolled in BS in food science, chemistry/chemical engineering, or other similar major
- Strong analysis, creative thinking, planning, organizing and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of food science, chemistry, or nutrition science
- Strong attention to detail. Self-starter. Team player.
- Ability to adjust on the fly and thrive in an ever-changing environment
- Ability to travel (10%)

Compensation
$4,320/ per month
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
