Our internship program will introduce you to the world of consumer-packaged goods with the goal of cooking up an interest in future career opportunities and allowing you to make an impact in a refuse-to-lose environment. You’ll get to know our iconic brands and understand the importance of food safety programs and how they impact consumer health.
What Can You Expect from Your Internship?
You will be immersed into Conagra Brands and food safety organization for 11 weeks.
Working with us will give you exposure to our food safety programs and culture. It will provide insight into our specific programs related to microbiology, allergens, testing protocols, foreign material reduction and good manufacturing practices.
To enhance your overall understanding of our company, we will provide opportunities to network with peers and leaders to gain experience with the scope of career paths available at Conagra Brands.
You will also become familiar with ConAgra’s training tools and platforms and adult learning styles. Your project will include developing food safety specific training tools (examples may include apps, short video snippets, on the manufacturing floor training, digital notebook/iPad trainings, and digital procedures, etc.)
When: May 22 – August 4, 2023
Location: Omaha, NE ConAgra Corporate Office
Schedule: Interns should expect to work at least 40 hours/week

Do you have what it takes?
- You are enrolled in a degree program with at least 1 semester remaining after the internship program concludes
- You are pursuing a degree in Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, Food Chemistry, Biochemistry, Communications required.
- Strong communication skills are needed, experience in education and training a plus. Experience with media usage a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
