McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a full-time R&D Intern Summer 2023 in Technical Innovation Center located at 204 Wight Ave, Hunt Valley, MD. This is a 10-week internship (June 2023 – August 2023) which requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with analytical development and testing, including sample preparation, data acquisition & analysis and written reporting.
Conduct an independent research project in an area of agreed upon mutual interest – proposal, execution and written and oral presentation at conclusion of internship.
Work directly with internal analytical teams providing hands-on assistance and project guidance.
Collaborate with other analytical scientists and technologists to deliver ad hoc project results in a timely manner. Ability to work independently, learn new tasks, solve problems, show strong self-motivation and initiative
Present final report on work completed during the intern period.
Required Qualifications:
Enrollment as an undergraduate college Sophomore, Junior, Senior or graduate student in a relevant program for the 2020-2021 academic year
Enrollment as an Analytical Sciences, Chemistry, Food Science, Organic Chemistry, or Natural Product Chemistry major for the 2022-2023 academic year
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
